• A blend of editorial and fine art portraiture with heavy influences from street photography. Being that this is the way that I view the world around me, all that can really be said is lets just have you step in front of my camera to experience it yourself!

    It can be as simple as wanting a raw or open experience for the sole purpose of creating something, wanting some photos just for you/your social media or a specific idea you dream up and want to bring to life.

    Regardless of what it is, I’ll be able to ‘see’ it and make it come true. Pitch an idea and I’ll help create your personal shoot where not even the sky is the limit!

  • Many of the women closest to me/special in my life struggle with loving themselves, finding their sense of identity and even feeling comfortable in their own space.

    I came to the realization that, a large part of that comes from either not having the opportunity to be themselves throughout their life, or even not seeing themselves the way that I, or others who love them do.

    My purpose for doing women’s portraiture is to specifically cater to each individual woman and finding what she wants to love about herself.

    Everyone’s style will be different. Everyone’s energy will be different. But at the end of her session, she’ll leave loving her, that much more.

Our Process

Here at Bonsai Portraits we believe that questions are the gateway to productivity and customer satisfaction. Communication is everything and that goes not only for your portrait session with us, but for your brand and even you as an individual. What do you want to say? Who are you presenting to the world?

  • Whether in person or via Zoom: lets get to know each other and determine if we’re a good fit! Anything from ‘When was the last time you were photographed professionally?’ to ‘What, if any, time constraints are we working with for your portraits?’ are important to figuring out what and when we’re going to be doing together.

  • Now we know what you’re looking for and we know when it’s happening. Now lets determine what’s needed to bring this portrait session to life!! What type of clothes and colors are involved? Will we need any props? Let’s work out all of the rest of the logistics so we can get to the next stage: creating your portraits!

  • This is the fun part! Everything is in place and it’s time for the magic to happen. Don’t worry about poses or anything else. Let’s be in the moment and make all of the planning we’ve done together come to life for YOUR personalized portrait session.

  • The time has finally arrived and you have to pick your images! What do you see that truly represents you and the vision you came to us to create? Are there any touch-ups you’d like to see made?
